Dress Code Policy (SDPBC Policy 5.182) Guidelines

We want to ensure a positive and focused learning environment for all students. To achieve this, we kindly request your cooperation in adhering to our dress code policy, which is designed to promote a respectful and distraction-free atmosphere. Please take note of the following guidelines:

General Dress Code Guidelines:

1. Modesty: Students are required to dress modestly, covering cleavage and midriffs, with no visible undergarments.
2. Length of Bottoms: Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be no shorter than four (4) inches above the knee.
3. Holes in Pants: Holes in pants are allowed only at or below the knee.
4. Waist Level: Pants, shorts, and skirts must be worn at the waist.
5. Footwear: Shoes must be worn at all times for safety and hygiene.
6. Head Coverings: Heads must be uncovered, except for health or religious reasons.

Students are expected to maintain personal cleanliness, grooming, and neatness of dress that does not disrupt the classroom environment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a conducive learning environment for all students.
